NFC West Preview, by PredictionStrike!

We're continuing our summer camp tour with the NFC West this week! With July 4th in the rearview mirror, our eyes are now locked into Labor Day weekend! The NFC South is not as wide open as it has been in years past, but regardless the rivalry amongst the teams will likely keep it closer than we all expect. The Arizona Cardinals are by and large the least likely team to win this division. With Kyler Murray ($3.69) not likely to take a snap in the first month they're essentially playing games with one arm tied behind their back. Deandre Hopkins ($4.00) is now gone which leaves us with Marquise Brown ($1.62) as the lone alpha in this offense. If they are going to stand any chance this season it'll likely have to be done with a strong ground game led by James Conner ($3.81). Conner is capable of producing for this team, but he's likely going to miss 4-5 games as well if given the lead role in this offense. However, if he can stay healthy until Kyler Murray is back

Hopefully, you all had a great Independence Day. The holiday is a halfway point of sorts until training camp begins to open across the NFL. We will continue our breakdown this week with the NFC South! This division is in a major realignment after the retirement of Tom Brady ($12.44). It would appear as of now that Baker Mayfield ($1.83) is going to be the lead dog for Tampa Bay this season. I still believe Mike Evans ($9.60) is going to be a solid playmaker for this team along with Chris Godwin ($11.88). The offensive line remains a question mark for this team, and it remains to be seen just how productive this offense can be. If the offensive line can hold up, Tampa Bay can remain a viable playoff contender with the pieces they have on their supporting defense. However, the offensive line was so horrific last year, it remains to be seen if the improvement needed is possible. As for the Saints, the addition of Derek Carr ($2.58) figures to make them the favorites by many pundi

Dalvin Cook ($3.10) is finally a free man, and perhaps it is much too late for him to get the bag he desires. However, Cooks' exit from the NFC North isn't the end of the world for the Vikings who still have to believe they're the front runners for this division in 2023. Alexander Mattison ($1.20) is largely the beneficiary of the Cook exit and figures to be a main ingredient for this offense as they look to improve their explosive offense from just a year ago. Kirk Cousins hasn't lost much talent as they bring back Justin Jefferson ($10.64) and add rookie Jordan Addison. Lest we forget they retained the services of TJ Hockenson ($1.19) as well. This team should be the favorite for the division and it isn't particularly close for me. While they do have deficiencies on the defensive side of the ball, I don't see much standing in their way with the exit of Aaron Rodgers ($6.92) this off-season. Many pundits are picking the Chicago Bears as the surprise
